Early Bairds Children's Nursery was founded in February 2013 by Miss Heidi Langhorn, a qualified nursery nurse, with over 20 years’ experience working with children of all ages. Since 2013 the nursery has pursued a policy of progressive improvement in the care and educational facilities it provides.
Early Bairds Nursery values its practitioners highly. We recognise that it is in the interests of the children that every opportunity is given to our practitioners to broaden their knowledge and skills in childcare and education through training and/or continuous professional development. All our practitioners are highly qualified, have a genuine love of children and are deeply concerned with the welfare and happiness of your child.
Early Bairds Nursery aims to offer the highest possible quality of experience for both children and their families. Our ratio of adults to children helps to do this, but another important factor is our 'key person' approach which ensures personal attention to the needs and development of each individual child and family.
We are open Monday to Friday 7.30-18.30 and offers a variety of sessions. We are open 51 weeks of the year, and closed bank holidays (chargeable) and a week at Christmas.
Opened on Monday February 4th 2013, the Early Bairds Children’s Nursery provides professional childcare in Great Harwood and the surrounding Blackburn area. We offer a bright, airy and stimulating environment that our children thrive in. All age groups have their own dedicated rooms individually tailored to meet their developmental and personal requirements.
We believe that children deserve the best possible start in life and it is our aim to provide the correct levels of support so that their full potential is realised. Ongoing research proves that the experiences throughout the early years of a child’s life have a significant impact on their future lifetime potential.
